One of the best things about Thomasville is the genuine Southern hospitality. Take a Taste of Thomasville food tour to experience some of the best restaurants in town.
Down Home
For a small town, Thomasville has some excellent local dining opportunities. A Taste of Thomasville food tour takes guests on a walking tour through the downtown area, stopping at several different eateries to experience samples from the menu. This isn’t just a great way to experience Thomasville’s food scene — it’s also a great way to get acquainted (or reacquainted) with the city’s history and culture. You may find a new and interesting side to the City of Roses that you know and love! And as Thomasville was ranked the No. 2 small city in America to live in by USA Today, that’s worth the price of admission alone.
Gentle Stroll
The food tour takes around three hours to complete, and dietary restrictions can be accommodated. The tours take place rain or shine, and tours begin at the Thomasville Visitor’s Center Courtyard located at 144 E. Jackson Street. Park in the Municipal Building parking lot, and then head to the corner of Crawford and Jackson streets. Walk toward the Municipal Building, past the fire station, and take a right-hand turn into the parking lot. The tour includes enough food for a large lunch, according to the organizers.
