A Night Out

Upcoming Performances
Starting March 10, the South Georgia Ballet will put on a show called Fuse: Boots & Ballet. This show incorporates dance, live music, and visual arts. It’s an interdisciplinary affair that’s sure to impress. Fuse: Boots & Ballet starts at 7 p.m. at the Thomasville Center for the Arts, and you can pick up tickets online. Dana King and Gypsy Cotton will provide live music at the event.
In June, you’ll get to see the South Georgia Ballet’s annual Spring Show. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the company, and dancers will perform The Little Mermaid. Performances are slated for June 2 and June 3, though times have yet to be released yet. The South Georgia Ballet opened in 1998, and are taught classical ballet by Melissa June, who is the artistic director and outreach director of the organization. The dancers are also taught by guest instructors and choreographers who are recognized regionally and nationally.
