The 33rd Annual Thomasville Antiques Show returns to Thomasville, GA, with an array of exhibitors that showcase paintings, rugs, jewelry, tableware, accessories, antique furniture, and collectibles. The show runs from Feb. 25-26, 2022, at Pebble Hill Plantation. General admission tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
The Thomasville Antiques Show’s mission is to raise funds for local children so that they can take part in quality programs that enrich and assist. More than $2,700,000 has been raised throughout the years. The organization also strives to provide an opportunity for the community to learn about and appreciate fine antiques and art.
The event has become a destination event for many throughout the county. Experts and speakers have become a vital component of the show’s success. Past speakers have included the late Wendell Garrett, India Hicks, Bill Stahl, William Secord, Gil Schafer, Carolyne Roehm, Miles Redd, among others.
Schedule
The Thomasville Antiques Show kicks off on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, with the Sponsor’s Preview Party (5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.) and the Patron’s Party (7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.). Friday’s activities begin at 9:30 a.m. with exhibitor shopping. The headline event is a lecture and book signing by Mark D. Sikes.
Sikes is the author of “More Beautiful: All American Decoration with Mark D. Sikes.” The event costs $45 per person. Books that are purchased from TASF will be signed first.
The Thomasville Antiques Show will open for general admission from noon to 4:30 p.m. Additional events throughout the day include Atlanta Planters’ Spring Planter Demonstration. The event includes a spring planter raffle.
Saturday begins with a lecture and book signing by Ashley Whitaker at 10:30 a.m. Whitaker is the author of “The Well-Loved House, Living with Things You Love.” The event costs $45 per person. Additional events include another lecture and book signing featuring Aldous Bertram (“Dragons & Pagodas: A Celebration of Chinoiserie”).
The events will be held inside the tent in case of rain.
