The monthly Thomasville First Fridays are the perfect way to kick off your weekend, and we have one more downtown outing scheduled for 2019. This December, bring the whole family out to the city center for the First Friday Sip & Stroll, an evening of shopping, dining, and live music!
Make Your Plans
The Sip & Stroll will return to downtown Thomasville on Friday, December 6. It will run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., so dress warm for the chilly evening. A concert will be held at the Ritz Amphitheater starting at 8 p.m. featuring the Emerald Empire Band. The amphitheater is located at 131 South Stevens Street, Thomasville, Georgia 31792. Admission for this event is free, but adults will need an armband to purchase beer or wine.
Sip & Stroll
As the workweek winds down, the street lights will switch on and downtown Thomasville will come alive with friends, neighbors, and families. Before the music starts, you can dip into a few local businesses to take care of all your Christmas shopping, and a variety of restaurants will be serving drinks for the occasion.

Thomasville First Fridays
This event is part of the First Fridays series that livens up downtown Thomasville from March to December. Each month, our community comes together for an evening of fun and fellowship, culminating in a live concert featuring talented acts from near and far. Local shops keep their doors open later, and restaurants provide beverages and cups that you can bring with you as you explore the upbeat scene. Each event features a different theme, and this year, we’ve enjoyed Beach Beats in June, Summertime Brews in August, and A Soulful September to name a few.
